Headlamp For Mahindra XUV 500

Headlamp design for Mahindra XUV 500 was done to improve the aesthetics of the vehicle. Headlamps are playing important role in a vehicle both in terms of functionality as well as design. This project was divided in to two aspects: Where we are now and Where we want to go, so between this, all technical information related to headlamp e.g. types of light sources, reflectors, their manufacturing and photometry and regulations were understood and a new headlamp was designed by keeping this knowledge in background. New technologies like LED, OLED, adaptive headlamps are evolved recently in Indian automotive sector, so another purpose of this project was to understand these technologies and implement these technologies in a new headlamp.
