Car accident detection system using mobile phone

Every year around 20,000 deaths related to car accidents are reported in India. Many steps like better  infrastructure, stringnent norms and new technologies are implemented to reduce accidents. But no matter what steps are taken accidents cannot be abolished altogether. They will be caused due to human error, mechanical failure etc. So, the need of the hour is to have a Accident Detection System in place which can be afforded by car owners of all the segments so that the victims could receive speedy treatment and police assistance.
