Goods carrier transformable into passenger vehicle

In a developing country like India a car is not just a mode of getting from point A to B. It is a luxury, a style statement, a mode of carrying goods, a means of supporting one’s livelihood or even a part of the family. But cars being not easily affordable for the majority of the population, more often than not the lines between these different perception of a car are blurred as people tend to use a single vehicle to serve varied purposes.

The scope of this project is to find answers to the various ways people use their cars. To come up with a design solution where the different purposes for which different cars are used can be met with a single product. From the research it was found that there is a need for a goods carrier that can be seamlessly transformed into a passenger/personal vehicle.
