Experimental animation

An experimental animation project done during the course.

The task was to experiment with Sand Animation, Time lapse, Projection Mapping and Layering of different clips.

We did sand animation in our product photo studio in groups and made a small clip of sand animation which later we experimented with colors and layering on the other video clips.
Another experiment was the projection mapping. We projected the sand animation clip on a hanging plastic ball and recorded the video.
For the Time lapse we chose a place and took 300 pictures in every 1 minute, each during morning, afternoon, evening and night.

I composed a piece of music using a software. Later I arranged the final clips according to the mood of music and experimented with layering two or three video clips onto each other. The process took 20 days to finish.
