Editing and layout-design of the photo-book documenting rich geographical and cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh–the land of dawn-lit mountains is one of the seven sister states of north-east India. The diverse tribal culture, rich biodiversity, stunning landscapes of Arunachal and its people’s ability to balance traditional religious beliefs with scientific progress make this place truly magical, mystical, mythical.

The project was to design a photo-book with the photographs I had taken earlier in a manner that conveys the richness of the place. Process included studying the design of existing photo-books, followed by preparing images for printing, sequencing of photographs, relationship between facing pages and grid system.
