Acacia

Acacia is a geometric rounded devanagari font family consisting of three weights. It has a characteristic round endings and low contrast that refer to the round calligraphic tool. The typeface is made in such a way that it will be readable and legible at smaller point sizes as well as display size. Knots and loops have been specially simplified to achieve a different identity to the letters.

The process for this typeface was started from the fundamental development of letter structures and its exploration. Later working on lettering and calligraphy of letter styles. Using the traditional tools to make the whole set of letterforms helps a lot. Digitizing the sketches have its own tool limitations.
