Comparative study of features for open source game engines

This project involved collecting of data for open source game engines and making a comparative analysis of features across game engines and platforms – for mobile devices. There was also a need to study and understand various game engines with regard to the type of license, subscription fees, two or three dimensional, portability, cross-platform compatibility, learnability curve and many other features that classifies an open source engines from a licensed game engine for a game developer who is looking forward to make a fully functional and featured game. The output of this activity will be a helping aid for a game developer for a quick comparison of game engines that exists currently in the internet domain under the label of open source.
