Smart Cradle

Smart Cradle

Prof. ABC

As the name suggests "Smart Cradle" is a cradle for the new generation of Indian parents. The product offers all of the necessary infant monitoring technology, such as automated swinging, cry, detection, and music. Additional provisions for other technology modifications are also provided. The ergonomics and safety of both the parent and the child were taken into consideration when designing the cradle. It may be flat-packed, stored, or transported and was designed for simple user assembly. The aesthetics are created to enhance the beauty of an Indian home. The furniture art of Sankheda, which is easily mass-produced, inspired the turned wood aesthetics.

Occupational therapy kit for Parkinson patients

Occupational therapy kit for Parkinson patients

Prof. ABC

Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder that primarily affects the movement of a person. It is a chronic and progressive condition that occurs when there is a loss of dopamine-producing cells in the brain. Since it is a chronic disease, the symptoms worsen over time. Menial tasks like picking up a glass of water become a major impairment in their daily life. Occupational therapy helps in their daily activities by enhancing and keeping fine motor skills active. However, a personal kit for patients to use either by themselves or people around them, does not exist in the market. This project aims to fill this exact gap. The kit will address various hand grips and arm range of motion activities through a fun and motivating solution to the rather monotonous and boring exercises without any professional help.
