MI-Steam - A Hydrothermic Device for Toddlers

MI-Steam - A Hydrothermic Device for Toddlers

Prof. ABC

MI-STEAM is a small and cute device that provides a safe and efficient steam therapy for your child. It is designed to regulate the temperature up to 50 degrees Celsius while using ultrasound technology to create tiny warm mist that can help ease nasal congestion and relieve common cold symptoms. Steam vapor consumption is a popular method for relieving nasal congestion and headaches caused by the common cold. However, steam can be extremely dangerous for children due to its high latent heat. Children have sensitive skin and handling very hot water is also risky in front of them. The technology used in this device combines ultrasonic vibration to create tiny water particles while two metal plates are used inside to heat up the water. The product is sealed using ultrasonic welding, ensuring absolute leak-proofing. Additionally, the amount of water present in the heating chamber is kept to a minimum to avoid further water spillage issues. The device’s simplicity, compact size makes it easy to carry around and use anywhere, making it an excellent choice for parents who want to provide steam therapy for their children without any hassle.

Modular Furniture Design for Indian Navy & Cost Guard

Modular Furniture Design for Indian Navy & Cost Guard

Prof. ABC

This project aims to design and standardize modular furniture for the Indian Navy with a focus on improving the quality of sleep for sailors and providing recreational opportunities for them. As a designer, I am developed a new and innovative modular folding berth with many more add-ons to enhance the overall experience for sailors and officers on board. The design of this berth cubicle is flexible, adaptable, durable, and long-lasting to withstand the harsh marine environment and adhere to strict safety standards. This new modular cubicle provides adequate space for sleeping and personal storage while also allowing for privacy when needed. Beyond sleep, the design incorporates recreational opportunities for sailors during their free time. The challenge of designing modular furniture for the Indian Navy required a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by sailors. The project's success delivers balance functionality, durability, and safety while also providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for sailors. It is a critical step in enhancing the quality of life for sailors on board Indian Navy vessels.
