City Commute vehicle for Women
City Commute vehicle for Women
Prof. Sugandh Malhotra
A city commute vehicle primarily designed for middle-aged women, by considering their needs, wants and aspirations. The vehicle is just under 3m with a width of 1.45m. It has 2 + 2 seating with wide opening sliding doors. The rear window extends till seat to create a spacious feeling. The rear tailgate is split open type to help load and unload the goods easily, as well as a seating area during a picnic. The rear seats can fold independently to fit in luggage/passengers or even a dog.
The interior design is driver focussed with only essential controls and information present. There are dedicated storage areas for various user-carry items. The panels are soft-touch vegan material with ample use of recycled plastic and fibres. The exterior form was based on the interior layout and follows a bold and confident stance with a prominent smart panel integration on each side.
