According to a study, about 81% of the Indian workforce is in the informal
sector, 6.5% is in the formal sector, and about 0.8% is in the household sector. There are around 50 lakh street vendors in India, of which Uttar Pradesh has the most (8.5 lakh). Uttar Pradesh is also in the category of states with large populations of street vendors. Other states with a high number of street vendors include Maharashtra, and Telangana (5 lacks) while Gujarat and Tamil Nadu have (3.5 lakh) of labor. (TribuneIndia 2022). The number of jobs in India is decreasing, which means there are more informal (unregulated) sectors where people work. This can cause many problems because it sometimes provides different benefits and protections than regular, formal jobs. A study has found that the informal sector is India's primary source of job growth and needs to be considered when planning for the future. This project ims to design a Low Cost Mobile Grocery Cart that ensures a safe , comfortable and profitable experience for the vendor throughout the year and weather conditions. It should help the vendor maintain productivity and increase the sale leading to a higher profit .

The citizens' right to protest is a pillar of Indian democracy. While citizens are allowed to assemble peacefully, protests and demonstrations sometimes take a violent turn; recent examples are the Jat protests in Haryana and the Kashmir unrest following the death of militant leader Burhan Wani in 2016. During such occasions, it is the prerogative of the Indian state to deal with violent civil protests in a manner that ensures public order and protects citizens from harm. With increasing participation of women in politics, agitation, and crime, police officers have been feeling disabled in handling women's agitations, mainly because even a minor, actual or alleged misdemeanor on their part in dealing with any matter related to women has the potential of turning into a severe law & order problem. To cope with such eventualities, Women Personnel recruitment is increasing every year. If there's a case of protest or any eventualities, police are supposed to respond to the sight first. Still, they don't have enough advanced vehicles like other armed forces for extreme situations. Also, present riot vehicles are not women-inclusive. The goal of this project is to design a Riot Control Vehicle that has an inclusive design for women police officers, which provides a safe and secure environment for them to operate in during riot control operations while ensuring the vehicle is easily maneuverable and equipped with the necessary equipment for riot control operations.
