The Art of The Left Hand of Darkness

A 6-month-long project where I pretended to be a member of the 'art department' of a hypothetical,
feature-length animated adaptation of the novel The Left Hand of Darkness (1969), by the inimitable
Ursula K. Le Guin. Ultimately, the project resulted in the creation of a 100 page 'Art-Of' book
for the fake production, with artwork, production notes, and curated passages from the book.

A hand-drawn 2D animated short film about a young woman who, upon failing to
take proper care of herself, becomes subject to an unexpected intervention. The
film was created over a 5-month period as a solo project, and was animated frame-by-frame in Photoshop
with the AnimDessin2 extension. Duration, 1:25.
