WIP – Sustainable Packaging: An Exploration in Terracotta & Graphic Novel

The project began with an intent of developing packaging that was sustainable. It appears however that packaging is closely linked to consumption and the rate at which we consume is the main cause of threats we face globally.
Sustainable Packaging is possible an oxymoron. This realisation led to an exploration of packaging possibilities with terracotta as a material that is closer to the nature than plastic. However we would to need to depart from the notions such as scalability and re-examine our understanding of local modes of production and consumption in order to make such an exploration, sustainable.
The ideas that has evolved with the study have been communicated through a graphic novel.
