Heavy Duty Truck – Forms exercise

This exercise was a part of the coursework on “Studies in 3 D Form”

Process

The task was to design a heavy duty truck, based on the metaphors – “Heavy and Elegant”. To achieve that, inspiration was taken from the nature to abstract it into a 3D form. In this case, an elephant was chosen, as it connotes heaviness and elegance. The elephant was abstracted into a 3D form after which the abstract form was transformed to take the shape of a truck.
