About

Gadbad Gaon is an animated film on the topic blind faith. Superstition, religious violence, use of religion as a political weapon, and other such related things seems to be absolutely foolish. It is sad how people commit every crime for the sake of their religion. Religion is supposed to evoke love in the whole of humanity, instead it is evoking anger and violence in people, and fear in me!

Puppets

The puppets used in the film are made up of cloth (apart from armature which is GI wire, PU foam and m-seal). I did a lot of experiment on puppets, with different materials like leather, rubber, etc. and also with the armature of jaw, so as to make speaking puppets (with lipsync).
